Description:
New Employee Orientation (NEO) is designed to familiarize the new Department for Community Based Services workers with the many aspects of the Protection and Permanency, Family Support and Child Support functions. The components in NEO do not displace the local office supervisor's responsibility to review with the employee the Department's policies and procedures. Classroom training components include: Administrative Information, Anti-Harassment Prevention, Introduction to the Region, Professional Development and Training, Technology and Information Management. Web-Based training components include: Americans with Disabilities Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Preventing Disease Transmission, Providing Language Access to Limited English Proficient Persons, Safety First and Targeted Case Management.
