The PCP-TRIS system is currently in the development process. It will capture all training activities related to parenting skills and
mandatory training requirements for Private Childcare Placing (PCP) agencies’ foster parents. Training sessions are conducted by DCBS
Training Branch staff, PCP Staff and other community partners. Team members work closely with Residential Worker Competency Project
(RWCP) Staff, PCP staff and supervisors, Training Branch trainers, and Central Office management. Team members who work with this
system are responsible for maintaining and processing all training documentation for foster and adoptive parents of contracted private
agencies, throughout their home approval and closure process. The PCP-TRIS system will provide a collection of specialized,
comprehensive, aggregated data and reports for Central Office management and PCP agencies. This data consists of training hours, training
participants, parent approval tracking, training surveys, and other related information.
